4th July – Tokyo #2 by Maya

We saw a turtle today. It was when we were walking around a very cool park. Zoe and I were practicing reading maps because it had lots of paths and attractions. We were having a rest by a lake with an amazing bridge when Zoe spotted it she called me over. There it was the small brown turtle. It had a mucky brown shell and brown flippers, but what I found strangest was that the turtle had tiny claws on the end of its flippers. I watched it for awhile until it finally swam away. After we went to the park, we walked to Tokyo dome city.

At Tokyo dome city we went on a ride that had an almost vertical ramp that we went down in a boat. We landed in water at the end and got very wet.

After doing that we went to the most awesome sushi place. It had i-pads that we had to order on. Then after we ordered our food came on a little train. We had to take our food from the train then press the button above it. Once we pressed the button the train went back to the kitchen. It was awesome.

Going to a baseball game was the last thing we did today. The game was Giants verse Baystars. We were supporting the Giants. The game was crazy whenever a team did something good the supporters would start chanting and if someone scored a run the supporters would wave towels the colour of the team in the air. It was so cool. In the end the Baystars won 8-4.
