Sleeper Train & Hampi – by Maya

7 & 8th July 2016

train hampi zoe sleeper trainThis was the train we caught to Hampi. It had small windows. At first I thought it looked quite old but it was quite nice. My bed in the train was comfortable. I slept really well but it had a bit on the side that I banged into. In the morning I woke up before anyone else and looked out the window to see lots of rice paddies. I liked the train because you can look outside and it was comfortable to sleep in.

In Hampi we are staying at Shanthi Guest House. We have 2 huts. Zoe and I share one and Mum and Dad share the other one. When you look out the door there are lots of rice paddies.

Whilst we are here we are going to lots of temples. The thing I like about Hampi is that all the people are really happy.

People like taking photos with us. Sometimes I feel weird about that but the people are really kind.
